UNPLAITING A RAINBOW
It is an invitation to play with water and colours. It is an attempt to submerge in a child’s imagination - a wish to understand the intangible and, at the same time, the true way of perceiving the world that seems to be reserved for the youngest. The performance is made up of images, music, rhythm and gestures, while words are of secondary importance. "Unplaiting a Rainbow” is a dialogue with the use of senses and emotions. It is reciprocal listening and observing. The point is not to understand rationally, but rather to experience beauty, to become initiated in the land of sensitivity, to participate in a new reality, different from the one we see every day. Children are co-creators of the performance: they observe objects in their reciprocal relations, in relation to themselves. They listen to sounds with which objects communicate, and to how they tell stories…
